A Wim Hof & Tibetan Medicine Inspired Breathing Workshop


Join us for a transformative breathing workshop that will teach you easy-to-use deep breathing techniques that will enhance the quality of your sleep, boost your immune system, lower your stress & more!

Clinical studies on Wim Hof breathing techniques have shown improved immune response to injections of e.coli bacteria, acid to alkaline blood pH level changes, and a release of more adrenaline than a first bungee jumper- all through breathing! These techniques allow you to play with your subtle (energy) body in an almost hypnagogic (half-awake) state through breathing and focus.

The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the practice and an explaination of the science of breathing. Then, you will be guided through a series of Wim Hof & Tsa Lung/ Tibetan Medicine- inspired breathing techniques, followed by a relaxing medition & ample time for questions. The techniques in this workshop will help you:

Hannes Bend has been guiding mindfulness based breathing practices and the Wim Hof Method internationally at summer camps, schools, museums (such as the Rubin and Frost Science Museum), universities, yoga studios, and Elizabeth Garden since 2014. Hannes believes in the power of connection to our breath and utilizes breathing as a way to heal the body, mind, and spirit. As a globally active artist, Hannes’ philosophy is that the power of breathing should be accessible to everyone and by combining creativity and contemplation, we are able to cultivate both calmness and kindness for all.

How do I pay?
The most affordable way to purchase tickets is through the healme.nyc app (only $25). But, you can also purchase via Eventbrite, PayPal with the link PayPal.me/healmenyc, or Venmo @healme.nyc. We also accept cash or card at the door. However, at the door pricing is $40.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
healmenyc is located on the corner of 44th Avenue and 23rd Street in Long Island City, just a few minutes walk from Court Sqare, E, 7, M, or G trains. Free and paid for parking is also available nearby.

How do I find healme.nyc?
healme.nyc is located at 44-02 23rd Street, Suite 516 in Long Island City, New York 11101.
We are a hidden gem which can make us a little tricky to find. Here are the secret steps:

1) Walk to the intersection of 23rd STREET and 44th DRIVE (You should see LIC market).
2) Walk North on 23rd Street for 2 Blocks (You should pass the Secret Theater).
3) Enter through the DOUBLE DOORS of Caffeina (a cafe with a green sign).
4) Take the elevator to the 5th Floor and buzz suite 516.
5) Walk as far as you can down the hallway. We'll be here!
