On-Site Art After-School Classes for ages 9 to14

YOU WILL RECEIVE 10% OFF UNTIL 1/12._Our AFTER-SCHOOL ART program provides an education in the visual arts. Learn FUN AND PRACTICAL APPROACHES TO DRAWING, SKETCHING, AND WATERCOLOR PAINTING from a YALE TRAINED ARTIST AND EDUCATOr. Discover the stunning art at a different museum or gallery location, each week, along Museum Mile.  Each class offers the opportunity to EXPERIMENT WITH A VARIETY OF ART MATERIALS while focusing on the basics, including; expressive mark making, line quality, composition, linear perspective, proportion, value, shading, space, form and color. Students will also learn about the techniques of WATER-COLOR AND PRISMACOLOR. (Water-soluble colored pencils.)  All students will have the opportunity to engage in a guided inquiry and to develop their own perceptions and opinions about art. Students will leave each class with the confidence to begin creating anything they like.
