_LIBRARY RIESLINGS_ (MODERATED BY PAUL GRIECO)
"Finger Lakes Riesling is certainly the finest in North America, and
the top tier is world-class,” wrote Jason Wilson in his 2019
retrospect of Finger Lakes wines for Vinous.com. In this not-to-miss
seminar, we’ll present rieslings from six different New York state
wineries, each with a minimum of five years of bottle age.
Featured Wines:
* Hermann J. Wiemer, 2014 Magdalena Vineyard Riesling
* Lakewood Vineyards 2013 3Generations Riesling
* Silver Thread Vineyard 2013 Estate Riesling
* Atwater Estate Vineyards 2008 Riesling

_THE BURGUNDY GRAPES_ (MODERATED BY SOMMELIER YANNICK BENJAMIN)
New York riesling and cabernet franc have fairly received their share
of attention from both the trade and wine-drinking public. But ask a
winemaker to show you their chardonnay or pinot noir and you’ll be
met with a grin ear to ear. In this seminar, we’ll explore our own
cool climate expressions of those grapes made so famous by our cool
climate regional cousin of Burgundy, France: chardonnay, pinot and
gamay noir.
Featured Wines:
* Whitecliff Vineyard “North River” Blanc de Blanc
* Lamoreaux Landing 2014 Blanc de Blanc
