Join us for an exciting 45 minute dance cardio class with
extraordinary NYC choreographer and dance instructor Jimmy Crowell!
All levels of experience welcome and please stay after for our raffle
with prizes from famed bakery Taste Crème. We are eager to share our
short film Gaining & Losing and need your help funding our festival
run. A little about the film, Gaining and Losing follows the story of
Nina, a promising prima ballerina ready to redefine her career after
giving it all up to seek treatment for a life-threatening eating
disorder. She gathers her two best friends to celebrate a milestone in
her recovery. Mia, a support group friend, understands Nina on a
personal level, having overcome similar struggles. Tara, Ninas
longtime best friend and fellow dancer, is trying to cope with the
changes in their friendship, while making sense of Ninas new way of
life. When Ninas worlds collide, who will she keep alongside her on
the road to recovery? A little bit about Jimmy, Jimmy Crowell is an
actor. choreographer, and dancer. A Texas transplant, he moved to NY
to attend The NY Conservatory of Dramatic Arts where he received his
degree in Television & Film. He has had the pleasure of being signed
to Clear Talent Group; ensemble/co-choreographer of The Bridge,
directed and choreographed by Natalia Roberts; and other
forms/adaptations of theatre and film around the city. He is currently
a choreographer and dance instructor for 305 Fitness and TMPL Gym.

down-to-earth, grounded presence puts you at ease. His love for dance
shines through in his class, and you will leave feeling happy and
