The Friedsam Memorial Carousel, the popular merry-go-round in Central Park, will reopen after an 18 month closure this Saturday, October 16th. An opening day ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 12:00 PM and the first 50 riders on the Central Park Carousel will ride for free.
