The Chocolate Expo, America's largest chocolate event, returns to
Museum Village (www.MuseumVillage.org), a working 19th-Century
village, just 4 miles west of the world-famous Woodbury Commons Outlet
Center.The Chocolate Expo, which includes entry to all Museum Village
exhibits/events, will be held rain-or-shine, 10am-5pm, under the BIG
tent on the Village Green for all-weather comfort and convenience.
Attendees will get to taste & purchase gourmet chocolates, baked
goods, specialty foods, gelato, wines, distilled spirits, hard ciders
and much more from more than 50 local, regional and international
vendors.
TICKETS PURCHASED ONLINE FOR THE CHOCOLATE EXPO ARE JUST $15/ADULT &
$10/CHILD (AGES 4-12). Tickets purchased on the day of the event AT
THE DOOR are $20/adult & $15/child (ages 4-12). CHILDREN UNDER 4
YEARS OLD ARE FREE AT THIS LOCATION, BUT IN CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL
CHOCOLATE DAY (WHICH IS THE NEXT DAY -- OCT. 28) AND HALLOWEEN, ALL
CHILDREN AGES 12 AND UNDER WHO COME DRESSED IN A CHOCOLATE-THEMED
HAT/T-SHIRT/COSTUME OR A HALLOWEEN COSTUME, WILL RECEIVED FREE
ADMISSION THIS YEAR!
Our new VIP Tickets, which are available for $40 online ($45 at the
door), include a VIP badge, deluxe insulated Chocolate Expo tote bag
(a $10/bag value), a Museum Village memento, a private VIP tour of
Museum Village (at 12pm and 2pm) and a special Chocolate Expo
chocolate spa bar.
Finally, we will offer our popular "LATE DAY SPECIAL" discounted
tickets ONLINE ONLY FOR JUST $10/PERSON (all ages 4 and above) for
the LAST TWO HOURS OF THE EXPO BETWEEN 3 AND 5PM, when crowds are
typically smaller and the atmosphere is more relaxed. Most vendors
still have plenty of samples, and plenty of products are typically
available for purchase during this later part of the day. AT THE DOOR,
LATE DAY SPECIAL TICKETS ARE $15/PERSON (all ages 4 and above) for the
last two hours of the event.
PLEASE NOTE THAT "LATE DAY SPECIAL" TICKET HOLDERS WILL NOT BE
ADMITTED BEFORE 3PM.
Tickets purchased online will be sent to you electronically in a PDF
file (attached to an Order Confirmation email), which should arrive
seconds after you place your order. If you don't see the email right
away in your Inbox, it may have been put in a junk email folder by
your mail server, so be sure to check there, as well, if you don't
get your tickets IMMEDIATELY. Print out these tickets and bring them
with you to The Chocolate Expo.
Alternatively, you may also purchase tickets on your mobile device
using the Eventbrite App. We can scan your ticket barcode directly
from your phone or tablet.
PARKING: There is free public parking at Monroe Park & Ride Lots A &
B, located just off of Route 17, and we have free shuttle buses
between Lots A & B. In addition, we have created a temporary walkway
through a wooded field between Lot B and Museum Village. Handicap
parking is available at Museum Village itself on Route 17M.
MASS TRANSIT: For visitors from New York City, Shortline offers
weekend service to the Monroe Park & Ride Lot, adjoining Museum
Village.
