This midweek adventure will offer families delightful hikes along with rustic nature crafts, wearable art, a science project, and a canoe excursion. Hiking activities will refresh and reunite us with the pristine woods and wildlife. One hike will feature plant and tree identification. Later, at the lodge, inspired naturalists will design tee shirts using leaf printing techniques. Each family will also create a woodland style terrarium to remind them of the explored forest terrain. There will be plenty of time for families to relax and engage in activities on their own. After an evening campfire we will take long deep breaths and gaze up as stars pierce the darkening sky!
