Alpine Endeavors on an all-day rock climbing adventure! Located only
90 miles from NYC the Shawangunks or "the Gunks" is a world-class rock
climbing destination. This is for climbers with previous experience
preferably outdoors. You will be climbing multi-pitch rock climbs
teamed up with one other person and your guide. We will have a low
climber to guide ratio of 2:1 allowing the guide to custom build the
day based on your experience and climbing ability. In addition to the
climbing you'll learn how to clean routes and do multi-pitch rappels
all while getting in as many climbs as the day allows. Your guide will
meet you at the Bus station in New Paltz at 8:40 am and then you're
off to the climbing location. At the climbing area you'll get equipped
with the necessary shoes harness and helmet and then spend the day on
a variety of climbs ranging in difficulty on the beautiful Mohonk
Preserve. After climbing we return you to the bus for the 5:00 pm
departure.
