Tour of the historic home, studio, and art collections of American sculptor Chaim Gross (1904-91). Visitors see the first-floor sculpture studio, renovated in 1963 by the artist; temporary exhibition on the 2nd floor; and on the 3rd floor, the living and dining space featuring over 200 works from Gross's extensive global art collection, including important American paintings by Marsden Hartley, Willem De Kooning, Milton Avery, Jacob Lawrence and many others, installed by the artist and preserved as he had it during his lifetime. A hidden treasure of New York City and winner of 2015 Village Award from the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation. Featured in the book 111 Places in New York That You Must Not Miss (2015).
