Hatha yoga is the science of using postures to reveal the connection
between the body and breath. These postures, called asanas, allow you
to understand your body on a deeper level.

There are many postures you can hold and practice. At the root of the
practice, holding the postures tells you something about yourself. Are
you rigid or soft? Are you forceful or yielding? Notice what your
posture feels like when you’re happy versus when you’re angry.
With Hatha yoga, there is no need for you to feel like your life is
out of control. You learn to direct and master your energy. You go
beyond your own limitations and gain increased self-awareness,
feelings of inner peace, and overall physical health.
