Lokke Heiss
Lokke Heiss was born in a small town in Illinois. He lived in Los
Angeles for eighteen years and is currently practicing medicine in New
York City. Dr. Heiss has a medical degree and an MFA in film studies
from USC. His published work includes FICTION AND NONFICTION IN
JOURNALS AND NEWSPAPERS INCLUDING THE _New York Post, South Carolina
Review, Cinefantastique,_ and the _University of Illinois Medical
Journal._ Awards include a James Joyce Institute prize for the short
story “Will Gray” and the Nassau Review’s award for best
nonfiction essay for “The Man Who Would Be Disney,” about L. Frank
Baum’s Hollywood career. Heiss has just published a short story, 'A
Beautiful Death, available as a download through Amazon.com.
Andy Kass
Andy Kass has been a Staten Islander since before the
Verrazano Narrows Bridge opened and before his street was paved. He's
still there enjoying the novelty of pavement and small-town life in
the big city. His work has appeared in Glimmer Train, Central Park,
outerbridge, Z:Miscellaneous and The New York Times Op-Ed section,
among other publications. He is currently in discussions with several
agents about his
Case Runner series of legal thrillers.
Ann Sample Lineberger
Ann Lineberger is the author of the novels _Sunday Best_ and _The
Adjustments_ and the non-FICTION DESIGN BOOK TITLED _New Spaces, Old
World Charm_. Ann has worked as a reporter, editor, and writer for
numerous publications, including F_ortune, Entertainment Weekly,
Cottages & Gardens_, and_ Home Remodeling_. She earned a master’s
degree in journalism and mass communication from NEW YORK University
and an associate’s degree from the NEW YORK School of Interior
Design. Her independent studies program undergraduate degree is from
Providence College. She enjoys spending time with her family, yoga,
running, photography, and escaping to Maine in the summers. In
addition to writing, Ann is an interior designer and home stager. She
lives in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters.
Joseph Trigoboff
Joseph Trigoboff grew up in East NEW YORK, Brooklyn. _The Bone
Orchard_, his first CRIME NOVEL, was listed by the NEW YORK Times as
one of the best CRIME NOVELS OF THE YEAR; Barnes & Noble chose it for
its Discover Great Writers program, and it was a selection of The Book
of the Month Club. He is also the author of _Rumble in Brooklyn _and
_The Shooting Gallery_.
Vicki Weisfeld
Before beginning her mystery-writing career, Vicki Weisfeld spent most
of her income-producing life at the National Academy of Sciences in
Washington, D.C., and working for a large private foundation, where
she helped grantees tell their stories (and accumulated some of her
own). She has two novels under renovation and a third in the blueprint
stage. Meanwhile, she's had 19 short stories published in such venues
as _Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine, Mystery Weekly
(12/19),_ _Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine _and numerous anthologies.

Rich Zahradnik
Lights Out Summer, the fourth book in Rich Zahradnik’s Coleridge
