Immigrating is hard. America’s current socio-political climate is
making it even harder. We’re constantly bombarded with people’s
thoughts on immigrants every single day. But there usually is
something missing: the perspective of actual immigrants sharing their
own experiences. Thus, this month’s proceeds will go to MAKE THE
ROAD NEW JERSEY (MRNJ). MRNJ builds the power of working class and
immigrant communities to achieve dignity and respect through high
quality legal services, transformative education, and policy
innovation.
Our expert: At Make the Road New Jersey, Nedia is responsible for
expanding educational opportunities for first generation, Black,
Brown, and immigrant youth in greater Union County, New Jersey and
youth leadership development.
REFUND POLICY: Tickets maybe be refunded up to 24 hours before the
event. Within 24 hours we may take exchanges for other events at our
discretion. No refunds after the event.
