Visualizing NYC’s Open Data

In this session, users will learn to navigate NEW YORK City’s Open Data platform while learning to create compelling visualizations. In this session, users will learn to navigate New York City’s Open Data platform while learning to create compelling visualizations (charts/graphs). Users will learn the fundamentals of the Socrata Open Data platform and walk away with a minimal understanding of how to visualize and contextualize data on the platform. This session is great for varying levels of data expertise, but it is likely more suited for beginner and moderate data users.
