Dishwashing at meal service - Xavier Mission

We are the largest soup kitchen in NYC serving 1200+ meals every Sunday.  Each meal at the welcome table cost $1.67 Please consider making a $5 donation today at  https://xaviermission.org/donate/ [https://xaviermission.org/donate/] LOCATION : Church of Saint Francis Xavier 55 West 15th Street (bet. 5th and 6th Avenues), New York, NY 10011 DIRECTIONS : Take L train to 6th Avenue, or 1/2/3/F/M train to 14th Street, or the N/Q/R/4/5/6 train to Union Square. The St. Francis Xavier Church meal program entrance is on 15th Street, between 5th & 6th Avenues. The entrance is under the red awning on the north side of the street. Once you enter come down the stairs to the back of the kitchen. The sinks are in the kitchen.  DRESS CODE : • Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty • No sleeveless shirts, no skirts and no sandals • Bring and wear a hat or  be prepare to wear a hairnet • Hairnets , gloves and aprons will be provided on site  Bring your friends and family Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older  or accompany by an adult  ** If dishwashing isn’t for you, pls come to volunteer for • Meal Service 11:30am to 3:30pm • Welcome Table clean up 3:00pm to 5:30pm  Walk ins are welcome or sign up through https://www.newyorkcares.org [https://www.newyorkcares.org] Looking forward to seeing you all Thanks  Jim Wong  https://xaviermission.org/ [https://xaviermission.org/]
