A year ago Rosa made the decision to leave a life-threatening
situation and save her children, and herself. She embarked on a
seemingly impossible journey. Rosa, along with her four children
joined over 7,000 people and walked from Honduras to San Diego,
California. It took them three months to walk over 3,000 miles. This
treacherous voyage become known as the caravan. Rosa has been living
in the United States for about a year. She's currently in New Orleans.
Her kids are attending school as her asylum request makes its way
through the court system. ROSA'S MOST PRESSING NEED IS PAYING HER
LEGAL FEES TO COVER HER AND HER FOUR CHILDREN, AS WELL AS GIVE HER THE
OPPORTUNITY TO WORK. We are asking our community to support Rosa
during her time of need. The Trump administration is attacking
immigrants, refugees and migrants. We can fight back by making sure
these vulnerable communities are supported and protected.
PLEASE JOIN US FEBRUARY 25TH TO LEARN HOW YOU CAN HELP ROSA AND OTHER
ASYLUM SEEKERS.
