Oron STENESH RETURNS TO THE DUPLEX WITH “O’ver the Hill,” a new
one-man show. Oron will be ruminating on turning 40 through songs and
stories spanning composers as varied as Paul McCartney and Jason
Robert Brown, and characters including presidential candidate Amy
Klobuchar and presidential playmate Stormy Daniels. Joey Clark joins
on piano. Oron grew up in Kalamazoo, MI, studied musical theatre at
Northwestern University, and spent 8 years in NEW YORK City as an
actor and cabaret performer. Oron sings, dances, spits spoken word
on the mic, gets political, and generally enjoys himself and
encourages you to do the same at his "O" shows. In NEW YORK, Oron
received a MAC Award Nomination (2011) for "The Big 3-0" and also
performed "Olection" and "The O Train" at the Duplex. He toured
"Olection" to Chicago’s Davenport’s Piano Bar. He lives in
Minneapolis now and has played the Bryant Lake Bowl there with
"HerniO: Stories of Strains" and "Minne-O-polis.
