Let's practice English, make new friends, and enjoy your afternoon!

On Monday at 3:00 PM, we'll meet near the Exchange Place PATH station. We'll sit at a table together, chat, and make new friends.

Unlike an ESL class, here we practicing speaking English with each other.

We discuss lively topics, socialize, laugh, and learn in an easy, effortless way. The atmosphere is relaxed.

No pressure, just practice!

We meet in a public place for about two hours and enjoy English conversation together. Friends are welcome!

No daycare? Bring your baby with you.

The event starts at 3:00 PM inside Caffe Bene. We'll get a table on the second floor. Ask for the "ESL Meetup."

NOTE: To help pay for Meetup costs, we ask for a $5 fee, payable on the day of the event.

Tom is a native New Yorker: He grew up in Brooklyn. He has lived and traveled in Europe and Asia, and understands what it is like to learn a new language.

Tom earned a degree in English from Pace University. For more than 20 years, he has worked as a writer and editor for national magazines and websites.

Tom taught English speaking, writing, and pronunciation at NYC's well-known International Center for over six years. He now owns an ESL tutoring business.
