NYC Restaurant Week at Society Cafe

Hidden inside Walker Hotel Greenwich Village is Society Cafe, a market-to-table American restaurant by chef Manuel Gonzalez Charles. Gonzalez has a celebrated career, having worked alongside chef Mark Forgione at the Michelin-starred restaurant of the same name and later as the executive sous chef for the critically acclaimed Khe-Yo in Soho. Gonzalez uses his global influences and the nearby Union Square greenmarket to execute an evolving menu that is sustainable and locally sourced. The dining room features a warm fireplace and accents of walnut, leather and teal for a modern sophisticated setting.
