Join the excitement at the Loudonville Lion Dash on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Latham, Albany! This vibrant, family-friendly event invites the Loudonville Elementary School community to come together for a day of fun and friendly competition. Participants can look forward to timed races tailored to different age groups: a thrilling half-mile dash for Kindergarten and 1st graders, a 0.75-mile run for 2nd and 3rd graders, and a full mile challenge for 4th and 5th graders. Each race will recognize the top three boys and girls with awards, making it a motivating experience for all young athletes. The event runs from 2:00 PM to approximately 4:00 PM at the track stadium on the Shaker High School and Shaker Middle School campus, with setup beginning at 12:00 PM. Not only is the Loudonville Lion Dash a fantastic opportunity for kids to showcase their running skills, but it also serves as a key fundraiser for the Loudonville Elementary PTA, supporting vital programs and resources for the school.
