Learn to Spin Yarn

Hosted by Melissa from The Wellness Homesteader, this workshop will give you the knowledge to spin your own yarn. LEARN TO TURN WOOL INTO YOUR OWN UNIQUE YARN! During this workshop we will explore, handcarding, drumcarding, spinning single and multi-ply yarns, and finishing yarns. We will also talk about washing fleece and different types of wool. You’ll experience spinning from roving. No previous spinning experience required. Workshop fee includes all materials and equipment, and the perfect atmosphere to bring out your creative side! You will go home with a drop spindle and wool to practice on. This workshop is limited in size, so reserve your seat early. $125 per person, due at time of registration. Please register through EventBrite. In case of snow or inclement weather, workshop will be postponed to a later date. On street parking on W. Market Street. Off street parking at 16 St. Johns Street. Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of this workshop, materials will be purchased in advance. Any cancellations prior to 1 week of the workshop will receive a full refund.
