Chinese Brush Painting

Chinese Brush Painting is a simplistic and meditative way to paint. Using the “Four Treasures”: the brush, the ink, the ink stone, and paper, one can learn the painting techniques to create the “Four Gentlemen”: the bamboo, the orchid, the plum and the chrysanthemum. Each “Gentleman” introduces a new stroke or idea and reinforces techniques already learned. Come watch a demonstration and then try your hand at it.
