MARTHA RHODES is the author of five collections of POETRY: _At the
Gate_ (1995), _Perfect Disappearance_ (2000, Green Rose Prize),
_Mother Quiet_ (2004), _The Beds_ (2012) and _The Thin Wall_
(2017).Her poems have been published widely in such journals as _Agni,
Columbia, Fence, New England Review, Pleiades, Ploughshares, Prairie
Schooner, TriQuar_ _terly_ , and the _Virginia Quarterly Review_ . She
has also been anthologized widely, her work appearing in _Agni 30
