for groundbreaking compositions, Kronos Quartet are known

classical sphere and beyond. Since their foundation in 1973 they have
performed over a thousand commissions, from composers and artists as
diverse and wide-ranging as as Steve Reich, Bjork, Philip Glass,
Frank Zappa, Nine Inch Nails, Arvo Part, Paul McCartney and many,
