THEATRESPORTS!®TWO TEAMS OF IMPROVISERS COMPETE IN THIS
LAUGH-A-MINUTE COMEDY COMPETITION
Doors Open @ 7:30pm, Show Starts @ 8:00pm
Full-contact improv comedy!
Two teams compete for the highest score in this fast-paced comedy
showdown. Performing scenes and songs inspired by audience
suggestions, teams are awarded points by our panel of judges. Each
match is kept on the rails by our referee. More than just a charming
host, the ref will penalize bad jokes and bad sportsmanship or reward
them with bonuses as they see fit.
Whichever team ends with the most points wins the match, and the
hearts of millions. Come cheer on your favorite team (and jeer those
nasty judges) as they compete for laughs and the sweet taste of
victory in this multi-week tournament.
(THEATRESPORTS WAS CREATED BY KEITH JOHNSTONE, TM International

_No Theatresports Match on March 17th or March 31st. _
FAQS
WILL I GET PICKED ON BY THE COMEDIANS?
Absolutely not. Improv is about getting inspiration from the audience
to help us invent scenes and songs on the spot. We celebrate your
contribution to the show because you are part of it. Any volunteers we
ask to join us onstage we GUARANTEE will be 110% cooler than they were
when they were in their seat.
ARE THERE ID OR MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE EVENT?
There are no minimum age requirements for attendees. Typically shows
are within a PG-13 rating. Our performances are improvised so the
content is largely determined by the audience and the suggestions you
give. We don't avoid "blue" humor but we try to be a little more
creative with off-color suggestions than the obvious.
DO YOU HAVE A LATE POLICY FOR SEATING?
Yes. Our shows begin promptly. If a performance is sold out, unused
tickets will be released to the waitlist beginning at five minutes to
curtain. Please arrive early so that your ticket is not re-sold. There
are no refunds within 24 hours of show time. Exchanges for a
comparable performance can only be made up to two hours prior to a
given performance.
WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE
EVENT?
Street parking is available on Union and N Jay street by our Theatre.
Parking is available in the lot behind Perecca's as well as other
public lots within a short walk of the theatre. The lot directly
