PBS Frontline is an award winning documentary series. On "The Gang
CRACKDOWN" we see how Long Island has become the forefront of this
administration's policing and immigration policies. We see the history
of gangs on LI and the Suffolk County Police Department's response.
For the first time the public is presented the effect of these
policies on teens of color. The actions of the School Resource
Offoicer in Huntington High School illustrate how teens are being
unlawfully detained, and the reality of the school to prison and the
link to the school to detention pipeline. Bring your youth and let us
discuss together what is really happening in our schools for all
students..
Be informed. Please share this with others interested in public safety
and criminal justice.
