Poem in Your Pocket Day (ZOOM)

Join Abigail Burnham Bloom and AnnaLee Wilson for Poem in Your Pocket Day, which was initiated in 2002 and takes place during National Poetry Month in April. This year the actual date falls on April 24. Have you ever tucked a poem into your pocket or purse that had special meaning for you, or a poem you wanted to show to a friend? Was it one you wanted to memorize, or perhaps a poem you didn’t completely understand and wanted to read again later? If not, simply choose a poem by an
established
writer (not one you have written) that you would like to find in your pocket and share. Each Zoom attendee should have a poem in mind to read aloud for a group discussion.
