Our self-guided bicycle tours put you in control of your own route and schedule. Rent a single or tandem bike for a day or more!

Digital route will be uploaded to your phone 24 hours before the event. Choose 1 out of 5 routes described below and let us know in your order form!

Duration: Daily rentals are for up to 8 hours. Weekly and monthly bike rentals are available for those living/vacationing in the area.

Start Time: 9:00 am - PICK UP TIME! Please, don't be late since you have your own designated appointment for safety and we have steady appointments before and after yours.

- Choose from one of our many pre-planned routes, or just ride and create your own!

- All route plans descriptions include total miles round trip.

- 7 Mile Cityscape

Enjoy a stop to a lovely - and not your standard - farm stand stop with homemade desserts, and a variety of items. This is a landmark as the oldest farm stand on the north fork.

There's a little bit more action on this side of town which includes varieties of different farm stands and some lovely vineyards. In addition to your digital route plan, you'll get a one-page reference chart of about approx. 20 vineyards nearby including information about each (atmosphere, cost of wine tastings, live music, and if they offer and/or allow food). Please, anticipate to spend 3-4 hours on this route.

- 10.5 Mile Countryside

Cycle a relaxing ride on relatively flat terrain and enjoy your time at the boutique vineyards. Several lunch recommendations are also included on this route.

Enjoy a stop to a lovely - and not your standard - farm stand stop. In addition, your digital route plan also contains a one-page reference chart with an overview of the nearby vineyards, including a one-page commentary about their atmosphere, cost of wine tastings, live music, and whether they offer and/or allow food. Discounts on some tasting flights are included with this package. Please anticipate to spend up to 5 hours on this route.

- 14 Mile Countryside

On this 14 Mile route plan cycling the countryside you will enjoy stops at vineyards, a charming beach, and two great restaurant options (one overlooking the Peconic Bay). Visit two boutique vineyards that are quite different from each other and both lovely.

Half-way through your ride and before lunch, you will pass a number of different vineyards - all of which you can visit if you desire. Once you arrive in the lunch stop area, the remaining part of the ride is pure cycling through the beautiful countryside with some great views!

This route leads your ride through a gorgeous nature preserve where you may observe ospreys, geese, and more. This scenic ride will reinvigorate you and might be just what you needed! Includes a one-page commentary about vineyards included in addition to your digital route plan. Please, anticipate to spend anywhere from 4 up to 6 hours on this route.

- 17 Mile Cityscape

This 17 Mile Route offers a little workout with your wine! The mostly flat ride features a couple of rolling hills (nothing crazy!) through backroads on a ride past residential neighborhoods, along tree-lined roads and features a beach in the distance. You'll cycle by a quaint little inlet with boats and yards as well as some marshlands for a picturesque view and the chance to even view some wildlife.

Cruise past some farmland and a relaxing beach where you can refuel and take in the tranquil Peconic Bay. At furthest point, indulge at a French-influenced countryside vineyard. Make your way back with a number of other vineyards and farm stands to enjoy along the way!

This scenic ride may reinvigorate you and be just what you needed! Includes a one-page commentary about vineyards in addition to your digital route plan. Please, plan on a 5-6 Hour experience depending on the amount of time at each stop.

- 19 Mile Countryside

Ready for a Workout with your Wine? Take in the Beauty & tranquility of this wonderful ride to some of our favorite handpicked vineyards and Brewery. This is a relatively flat ride with a couple of rolling hills. Nature abounds on this magnificent route as you cycle through a nature preserve, with stunning marshlands and winding roads!

Cycle on backroads alongside green pastures and a stretch of lush green vineyards. Enjoy a farm stand with local fruits and veggies which help craft the perfect cycling experience through wine country. Stop at a Brewery and a couple special boutique vineyards, each with their own character and style.

Includes a one-page reference sheet about vineyards included in addition to your digital route plan. Please, plan on a 5-6 Hour experience depending on the amount of time at each stop.

*PLEASE NOTE: Our Self-guided tours allow you to create your own route, or wander wherever you please. However, please be aware that due to Covid-19, the vineyards in our area may be operating at less-than-normal capacity, have specific Covid guidelines, and/or may have reduced hours of operations. We recommend contacting any places where you may plan to stop to secure reservations and ensure that they are open.

Important:

- All rentals originate at our storefront (13200 Main Road in Mattituck, NY)

- Guests are advised to call and confirm equipment is reserved prior to their arrival (ideally 48 hours). We operate by advanced appointments only.

- A valid Photo ID and Credit Card are required at time of rental.

- We ask that you return your bike at 5pm Sunday through Friday, and 6pm on Saturdays (unless other arrangements have been made).

- Tandem bikes are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
