Holiday celebrations and VACATIONS OFFER WHAT SEEMS LIKE A
NEVER-ending supply of temptations of food and drink. Many people
report feeling guilt and feeling off track after attending a family
gathering or going on vacation. Let's start FOCUSING ON OUR TIME
WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND ENJOYING THE MOMENT, rather than
experiencing high emotions of guilt and disappointment. Join us on
May 22 to discuss strategies to manage nutrition through HOLIDAYS AND
VACATIONS. Tips will be provided by Registered Dietitian, Melinda
Yoder, to put a plan and realistic goals in place. We will talk
about how to strategize your meals and snacks, physical activity, as
well as foods to pack in your bags or to grab while at the airport or
highway rest stop. You will walk away with a plan to get started and
strategies to hold you accountable.Food samples, tips, and recipes
will be offered. Giveaways will be provided through the evening, as we
keep it fun and entertaining for all attendees.
