Jeff Hopkins: Pictures Come to Life

Join Art on the Block NYC annual artist-in-residence Jeff Hopkins for a storytelling show/workshop. Working on wall-sized sheets of paper, Jeff quickly draws, narrates, and acts out characters’ actions and voices. Audiences are encouraged to interact by adding sounds and movement. Jeff’s drawings are large and eye-catching, and he creates them on-the-spot as part of each story. His performances incorporate humor, history, and folklore.
