Annual Apex PeakFest

Join the fun in Historic Downtown Apex for the 44th PEAKFEST.This annual event is planned and facilitated by the Apex Festival Commission; it is not a Town of Apex hosted event. Join us for a full day of activities, music and fun! Our annual festival offers the opportunity to try new foods, buy from local artists, discover non-profits, engage with each Town of Apex Department and connect with sponsors giving back to the community. ?Start your day in the Depot lot at 9:00 am with a Hip Hop Cardio Workout with MiKayla Reid that's sure to make you smile and feel energized for the day ahead! ?Make your way around the festival footprint for Kid's activities that are sure to delight both Kid's and adults. Stop by Kid's Zone to burn off all that PEAK energy! ?Keep your groove going all day by dancing and singing along with local dance teams, student performers and local musicians on both the Thompson Street Stage and the Depot Stage. ?Our entertainment is FREE for all to enjoy! ?The festival footprint closes traffic along Salem Street from Thompson to Moore, with barricades beyond those areas. Additionally, , portions of East and West Chatham Street will also be closed for thru traffic.  Plan alternate routes to downtown between 6 am- 7 pm the day of the festival.
