Come join us for a farm tour the first and third Sunday of each month
from March to November from 1-2:30pm (Registration required) We will
no longer be open to the public for drop ins. As we continue to grow
we want to create meaningful relationships and opportunities with all
visitors to our farm. We thought farm TOURS WOULD BE A GREAT WAY FOR
INDIVIDUALS, families, and persons of all ages to come and enjoy our
friendly animals, spend some quality time outdoors, and meet farmers
who care about the environment and our community. We hope you will
leave a little lighter of heart and with a huge smile on your face
each time you come to visit!!! Activities on the tour! GUIDED TOUR OF
OUR FARM STATIONS, pastures, and farm areas by one of our farmers. We
will share each of the aspects of our farm, how we are striving to be
sustainable, and what to expect in the future. Watch our ducks and
geese as they forage in their field or play in their pool, and quietly
get on their level to see if they will visit with you. Visit with our
horses, a Halflinger and Connemara. Quality brushing time with our
rabbits by request. You can help us collect the fiber from our angora
bunnies during the cooler months so that we can use it to spin yarn.
Feeding time with all the animals at the end of the tour. You can
bring your own veggies and fruits cut into small pieces (preferable
organic or free of chemicals). Or we will have veggie buckets you can
feed for $1. Goat, sheep, and livestock guardian dog play area for
lots of CUDDLES, pictures, and goofy smiles! Playground area for kids
(and adults, we won't judge). Time at the end to purchase farm
products such as: goat cheese and desserts (from Elodie Farms) duck
and goose eggs t-shirts and tote bags (can also preorder what you
want) goat milk soap, produce (when available) plants and flowers
depending on weather we may also have snowcones for sale. We accept
cash, check, and Venmo for all products, and credit for everything but
the cheeses Who comes? We have had all ages from infants to a sweet 99
year old lady. However we do ask that: All pets stay at home. Anyone
who cannot navigate slight hills, uneven ground, or moderate distances
bring helpers or mechanical assistance as we may not be available to
help the entire time. Kids be supervised and have a waiver signed by a
legal guardian.. Cost of attendance: $10 per person Under 3 is Free.
We are located a 5-10 min. walk from Falls Lake and the
Mountain-To-Sea Trail. Please feel to take a walk to the lake and
explore for a bit after the tour, just be careful not to block anyone
in with your car. You will receive an email the week before your tour
with direction tips, weather updates, and things to bring/wear. We
recommend sending us an email directly, after you have ordered
(optional: include your best texting number) in case something is
entered incorrectly on Eventbrite, and to help ensure our emails don't
go to your spam. We want to be sure we can get all tour info to you.
There is NO NEED to print your ticket! Weather Policy: We may cancel
or reschedule if there is a high chance of bad weather. Although the
animals don't typically mind, we want you to get the most out of your
experience. Refund Policy: All tickets are refundable until a week
before your tour. If an emergency comes up please contact us by email
and we will do our best to pull in someone from the waitlist, or work
out other arrangements with you. If we are unable to work this out,
the ticket won't be able to be refunded under 7 days from the tour.
