As usual, we will have food and beer before the panel begins. The event is free, but you must RSVP to attend.   PANELISTS BRIGIDA MACK is an award-winning anchor/reporter for WBTV News in CHARLOTTE. Over her nearly 12 year career, Brigida has covered the Virginia Tech shootings, interviewed former President Jimmy Carter, actress and Autism spokesperson, Sissy Spacek as well as several well-known comedians and celebrities. Brigida is a proud alumna the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.   ED WILLIAMS is a CHARLOTTE WRITER AND EDITOR. He retired in 2008 after 25 years as editor of the editorial pages of The CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, where he contributed to two projects that won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. He currently serves as a board member for WFAE 90.7 and as a trustee of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Library. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi (B.A. in history) and a former Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.            GLENN BURKINS founded Qcitymetro.com in 2008. It was one of the nation’s first digital-only news organizations founded to serve a local, Black audience. Glenn previously worked as deputy managing editor and, before that, as business editor, at the Charlotte Observer; labor and White House reporter at the Wall Street Journal; business columnist and Africa correspondent for The Philadelphia Inquirer; and business writer at the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times.       TED WILLIAMS is the Founder of Charlotte Agenda, a profitable media startup that reaches about 500,000 people each month and has been covered by Digiday, Poynter and Harvard's NiemanLab as a future model for local media.
