National Trails Day 2025

Come celebrate the beauty and importance of our TRAILS WITH NATIONAL TRAILS DAY! On Saturday, June 7 from 9 am to 1 pm we will have free trail-related activities for all ages including (calendar subject to change):Live Music • 9 am – Laura Jane Vincent • 10 am – Justin Reid • 12 noon – Tom Troyer Guided Hikes • 9:30 am • 10:30 am • 11:30 am Group Trail Runs (with Rob Krar of The North Face) • 10 am – beginner, paved trail, approx. 2 miles • 12 noon – intermediate, natural surface trail, approx. 5 miles Pro Athlete Talk • 11 am – Rob Krar of The North Face Mountain Bike Rides • 10 am – beginner • 11 am – intermediate • 12 noon – advanced Birding Walk • 11 am Ongoing Activities • Paddling demos (kayaks, SUPs) • Geocaching trail • Mountain bike demos • ECO Bus • Adaptive cycle demos • eBike demos • Pedal boat rentals – discounted to $5 per boat today • FLYWAY zipline rides – discounted to $15 per person today Kids Zone • Turtle Trek (scavenger hunt) • Arts & Crafts • Face painting • Inflatables • Children’s bike safety rodeo • FREE kids book giveaways Food Vendors • Grandma’s Coffee – coffee, donuts) • Mackie’s Munchies – kettle corn, pork rinds, lemonade • Local & Lebanese – wraps, burgers, cheesesteaks, fries • Sno Cone Factory • Salty Paws – dog food truck More than 30 community partners will be on-site offering information, giveaways, and activity stations related to birding, trail maintenance, orienteering, footwear, and more.
