Learn the basics of nutrition (and how to make food work for you) from Kim— a Master Certified Trainer who lost 100 pounds (and had kept it off!) with proper nutrition and exercise. You'll learn: * What the macronutrients are, where to get them, and what they do in the body * Why low fat and low carbohydrate diets won't get you to your goals-- or keep you there. * The role that proper nutrition plays in diminishing injury, both in the gym and in your every day life. * Why not all proteins are created equal * Why walking for weight loss is worthless * How exercise and nutrition fit together and why you actually can't out train a bad diet. * How many calories you actually need * How to eat the foods you love and STILL see success Tickets are $10 each through Feb 23 or $15 at the door.
