Juneteenth GSO Fest 2025: Arts Legacy Awards

? June 20 – The Arts LEGACY AWARDS AT VAN DYKE PERFORMANCE SPACE – Honoring five artists who’ve shaped GREENSBORO’s creative landscape for 15+ years. Tickets go on sale May 1.The Arts Legacy Awards takes place during the Juneteenth GSO Fest. It started in 2021, as a way to acknowledge and celebrate the legacy Black artists have made in Greensboro. This formal ceremony will include an awards ceremony dinner with honorees and their guests as well as a tribute show designed to honor their service to our community. Greensboro has a rich arts history, but unfortunately, we don’t hear much about the contributions of Black arts institutions, artists, and arts administrators and we want to take time during Juneteenth to acknowledge and thank them for their contributions.
