The PEOPLE OF COLOR CAUCUS MEETS THE 4TH MONDAY AT 6PM. We are
currently researching the racial history of GREENSBORO/Guilford County
in an effort to see our roots and how far we have come and where we
see the effects of this history. We hope to see you all at our
meets. Please feel free to bring your dinner or refreshments.The
caucus provides a safe environment for people of color to share
information, feelings, experiences, and interactions that have
occurred during our lives. Race and racism lives in the lives of
people of color in ways that are very different from the impact of
race in the lives of white people. We believe that our professional
and personal lives are affected by racism and that by having dialogue
as a collective, we can emerge as a community capable of restoring the
full potential of all of our members.
