July Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino Classes by Messina Dance Company Wednesdays (July 5,12,19, 26) Come learn Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino in a warm and relaxed atmosphere with fun and friendly people. - no partner required - join any time - beginners welcome - multiple levels to suit your experience level BEGINNER (Level 1) | 6:30pm - 7:45pm This class is for absolute beginners with little-to-no dance experience and will allow you to develop a strong foundation in Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino. 75-minute class of the four week series, students focus on developing dance fundamentals including rhythm, coordination, and balance while learning the basic steps and turn sequences typical to Rasino and Rueda. IMPROVER (Level 2) | 7:45pm - 9:00pm This progressive, 75-min class is geared for those that have danced Cuban Salsa and/or Rueda before and allows you to further solidify, fine-tune, and expand upon the basics covered in Level 1. Here is your opportunity to refresh all of the beginning motions at a pace that is comfortable for you while further building a solid foundation in this exciting, interactive, and fun dance. This high-energy class focuses on combinations, leading and following technique, group moves, styling, and body motion.
