We are excited to extend the opportunity for you to attend
“Purposeful Coaching” professional development. This is a
three-day, face-to-face learning opportunity provided by Beth Metcalf,
EdD. Dr. Metcalf has 20 years of experience in education at the
state, district, and school levels as well as Institutions of Higher
Education and Regional Support Centers. She has a track record of
successfully designing and implementing curriculum, leading
professional development, and strategically growing instructional
leadership and coaching skills in both administrators and teachers.
Session Descriptions Day 1: Purposeful Coaching I- Face to face
session on the basic tools for implementing successful adult learning
and utilizing a coaching continuum that is directly related to adult
learning research and measurable student outcomes. Day 2:
Purposeful Coaching II-Face to face session focused on the
implementation of the basic tools for implementing successful adult
learning and utilizing a coaching continuum directly related to adult
learning research and measurable student outcomes. This session also
broadens the coaching toolset to include more scenario-based practice
and additional, more sophisticated adult learning strategies Day
3: Purposeful Coaching III-Face to face session focused on effective
school-based coaches, coaching teams/groups, tools for coaching in
PLCs, and measuring the impact of coaching on adults and students.
