A downtown open-air MARKET FEATURING THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST OF THE
TRIAD OF NORTH CAROLINA. Held monthly on the 3rd Friday of the month
from April through June with live music, great food, interesting
people and talented artisans. This last MARKET TAKES PLACE ON JULY
20TH.The City Market is a curated market focusing on the following:
1) handmade/locally sourced goods
2) local non-profits
3) locally owned creative services
We are committed to creating an experience that provides our VENDORS
WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THEIR CUSTOMER AND INTERACT WITH
ADDITIONAL MAKERS IN THEIR LOCAL AREA. Telling the story of local
entrepreneurs and helping them connect with the local MARKET IS WHY
WE'RE HERE.
WHAT ARE THE FEES FOR THIS EVENT?
Application fee of $5 included in the overall ticket price
$50 11’x11’ space at the market
The application fee is nonrefundable. The space fee will be returned
if you are not accepted for the market.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE $55 FEE?
- 11’x11’ space for vending at the market
- Access to MARKETING MATERIAL TO CROSS-promote the MARKET
- Access to electricity for lighting
- Opportunity to reach new markets and customers
- Application processing fee of $5
HOW DO I APPLY?
- The Eventbrite application must be completed with full
payment.
- Send photos of your products to gsocitymarket@gmail.com with
the title "GSO-FUTURE VENDOR NAME".
- You must apply separately for each market (April, May, and
June).
- Payment will only be accepted via Eventbrite registration.
No cash or check payments are being accepted at this time.
- Acceptance is not guaranteed based on participation in
previous events.

BASIC INFORMATION:
- All work should be local to the Greensboro and surrounding
areas.
- All physical products must be handmade by the applicant.
- Management reserves the right to remove from the market
without refund any exhibit or portion of an exhibit that is not
comparable to the submitted images or any work that is not produced by
the artist.
- In the event of cancellations, makers will be pulled from a
ranked waiting list.
- Submission of a completed application indicates
applicant’s agreement to all guidelines laid out by management.
- All accepted exhibitors will receive an Event Acceptance
Information email containing event day set-up, check-in, map, parking,
etc.
- Vendors should provide their own tents and tables. We have a
very limited supply at a first come first served basis.
- We can not guarantee a refund due to low turn out of attendees
or due to cancellation of event for reasons outside of organizers
control such as weather. Market is subject to change of date due to
vendor and attendee turn out.
HOW ARE EXHIBITORS SELECTED?
- Do you live or conduct your business in the Triad?
- Did you pay the fee?
- Do you play nice with other vendors?
- Then you are in!
THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF VENDORS WILL BE ACCEPTED:
No work from molds, kits, patterns, plans, or prefabricated forms not
created by the artist will be allowed.
- Handmade goods (preferably made with local components):
including by not limited to candles, leather goods, personal care
products, fiber art, garden art, glass, painting, jewelry,
metalwork, mixed media, photography, culinary art, etc.
- Local services (owned and ran locally): such as outdoor
services, personal health services, physical fitness, and more.
- Local non-profits that help and work in the Greensboro area
in any area: health, entrepreneurship, safety, etc.
FAQ:
- Do I have to bring my printed ticket?
No, you will not need it for check-in.
- Is my fee or ticket transferrable?
No, spaces may not be transferred to another person.
- What do the fees from this event go towards?
All revenues received cover planning, promotional, and operational
costs of the organizing parties.
- Who do I contact with additional questions?
