About our group:

The purpose of the Uni 4 Artists organization is to encourage and promote visual artists of the Unifour area (Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba Counties) and

enhance the quality of life for everybody in the community through the arts. Moving into their seventh year, members meet monthly in Hickory.

Through meetings, visiting artists, demonstrations, workshops, and field trips, information and inspiration are gained for developing individual capabilities.

U4A provides a social gathering in which art is the common bond that often creates lasting friendships. At least two art shows of their work are held each

year in local venues, and they participate in a variety of offerings to the community. Scholarships have been provided for high school seniors interested in

pursuing art studies, and a variety of supplies are provided for art based entities in the community.

Location of the gallery:

New Window Gallery is located at 150 W Main St. Valdese NC.

It is part of the Play It Again Records Building.

The two large gallery windows are lit 24 hrs. a day and can be seen from the curb!

The gallery is looking for more interesting artists to participate!
