Concealed Handgun Class

NC CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN COURSE In the NC CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN CLASS, students will receive a training and certificate required to apply for a CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT AT THEIR LOCAL SHERIFFS OFFICE. Course instructional topics include: Legal issues, HANDGUN SAFETY, HANDGUNS NOMENCLATURE, Marksmanship fundamentals, CONCEALED HANDGUN SAFETY, Presentation techniques, Cleaning and maintenance, Ammunition, Proficiency drills. Course Required Equipment includes reliable Self-Defense type HANDGUN AND 50 ROUNDS OF FACTORY AMMUNITION. Must be in the original factory box or carton. (No reloads)Prohibited Handguns: * Derringers , Single action revolvers , .22 & .25 caliber handguns.  * Guns manufactured by the following: Jennings, Jimenez, Lorcin, Phoenix Arms, Raven Arms, Bryco, David Arms, Cobra, or any other firearm declared to be unsafe.  Permit is good for 5 years. Permit can be used to purchase firearms. Reciprocity with approx. 40 states. NOTE: REGISTRATION AND COURSE FEES ARE REQUIRED IN ADVANCE. AT THE DAY OF THE CLASS, PLEASE ARRIVE AT 8:30 AM FOR CLASS CHECK IN. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND PLEASE CONTACT THE RANGE TO RESCHEDULE. CLASS FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. NO GUNS OR AMMO PERMITTED IN CLASS.
