A celebration of the latest installations in the popular Pedestrian
Art public sculpture series will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017. A
reception, which is free and open to the public, will take place at
Expo 216, 216 N. Front St. at 2:00 p.m. Guided shuttle tours will
take place at 1:00, 2:45, and 4:00 p.m. Tour tickets are $20 and may
be purchased online. Pedestrian Art, a program of The Arts Council
of Wilmington/NHC, features the installation of 10-12 sculptures
throughout downtown Wilmington each year. The program is made
possible through support from the City of Wilmington, The
Artworks°™, Craige & Fox LLC, Art in Bloom Gallery, the Dreams
Center for Arts Education, and the Downtown Business Alliance.
The celebration is being sponsored by Art in Bloom Gallery and Expo
216.
