_“IT’S NOT ABOUT US” _is the prime message for today’s
society, and takes place during the winter holidays. During what is
supposed to be the most giving time of the year, there are many who
want to give but don’t have it to give.Take Zola -- a very outgoing
student entering her senior year of high school, whose life is about
to change drastically. Not only is her family experiencing the woes of
low-income living, but they are also about to face the most
devastating and most unexpected situation of their lives.
For the first time, no matter what, they have to lean on the arms of
faith and family. An unwinding journey with friends and the encounter
of homelessness helps Zola and her family to experience the love of
Jesus Christ like never before.
As Zola comes of age, she is able to overcome apathy and
heartlessness, and truly learn that HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.
