ReCon Board Game Convention

RECON IS A FREE THREE-day BOARD GAMING CONVENTION HELD IN KERNERSVILLE, NC.ReCon prepares to return to the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina Memorial Day Weekend 2021, after several events were impacted by COVID-19 in 2020. ReCon 2021 aims to be even more remarkable than any of our previous tabletop gaming events. This May will mark the first 3-day ReCon event we've organized, still featuring open gaming, our play-2-win event, a tabletop gaming flea market, gaming giveaways, and food on site. Whether you’re a veteran player or a newcomer to the wonderful world of tabletop gaming, ReCon is a great place for you, your friends and your family to play some games and have a great time. Already have a small collection of tabletop games? Great – feel free to bring your favorite games and teach others how to play. Don’t’ own any games of your own or don’t feel comfortable teaching? No problem – there will be plenty of games going on throughout the day that you and your friends can hop into and learn how to play on the spot. Through amazing donations from our wonderful sponsors, everyone in attendance will have a chance to win some great games! We'll offer door prizes, play-to-win, and raffles. Project:Re3 is a church community built around the heart of serving others through missions. While each ReCon has proven to be a “remarkable” tabletop gaming experience for everyone in attendance, each event also serves a much greater purpose; all of the proceeds from food, snack and beverage sales throughout the day are used to fund local mission work in the Triad.
