The Fargo-Moorhead LGBT Film Festival

to announce the list of socially conscious and relevant films
screening at the 11th annual festival. 19 films representing
filmmakers from 6 countries will screen across 4 days.
The FM LGBT Film FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE WEDNESDAY, September 18
through Saturday, September 21 at the historic Fargo Theatre

Fargo, North Dakota. Doors open nightly at 6:30 p.m. Films begin
screening at 7 p.m. In addition to the evening programs, an afternoon
screening will take place on Saturday, September 21. Doors open at
2:30 p.m., and the screening begins at 3:00 p.m.
“Every season the FM LGBT Film Festival brings an array of this
year’s films about the lives and stories of LGBT people to the
Fargo-Moorhead audience,” said festival founder Raymond
Rea. “We’re thrilled to continue this for an eleventh year.”

A Festival Pass to all screenings is available for $30. Tickets for
individual screenings are $10. Tickets will also be available
throughout the festival prior to the screenings at the Fargo Theatre.
The seven award-winning films of the 2019 FM LGBT Film Festival
include Best Feature – “The Achivettes.” Best Ensemble
Performance – “A Night at Switch ‘n Play.” Best Cinematography
– “Song Lang.” Best Comedy – “Sammy the Salmon.” Best
Music – “I Stand Corrected.” Best Writing (Drama) –
“Listen.” Best Writing (Comedy) – “Lukewarm.”
“The award-winning films represent the best of what this year’s
festival has to offer,” said festival co-director Sean Coffman.

Since 2009 the FM LGBT Film Festival has screened films from national
and international sources, all with a focus on the lived experience of
the Lesbian/ Gay/ Bisexual/ Transgender populations.
The 2019 FM LGBT Film Festival is made possible through the generosity
of the MSUM Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the MSUM School of
Media Arts & Design, and the Pride Collective and Community Center.
