Join us at Deerassic for an evening as we learn how landowners can
include Prescribed Fire on their property to reach their management
objectives. Discussion will include prescribed fire in grasslands and
woodlands, utilizing fire as a land clearing tool prior to
establishing food plots and programs that may provide financial
incentives for forest and wildlife management. Tim Mason is owner of
Watercress Run Natural Resource Solutions LLC. He has more than 40
years’ experience working with federal, state and nonprofit natural
resource agencies. As a Certified Prescribe Fire Manager he conducts
prescribed burns throughout Ohio for private landowners, universities
and government agencies. This is a free event and will be at the
Deerassic Park Education Center on January 29th from 6PM –
