50+ Fitness & Wellness Showcase - December - Columbus, OH 2025

Description This showcase will introduce participants to three effective fitness programs designed specifically for folks 50+: 1. Silver Sneakers Classic – A foundational fitness class using light resistance, seated and standing exercises to improve strength, coordination, and balance. 2. Energi Tai Chi Silver Sneakers – A gentle, flowing Tai Chi-inspired class that enhances flexibility, mindfulness, and relaxation while improving overall stability. 3. Chair Yoga Master Class – A seated and standing yoga session tailored to seniors, focusing on stretching, breathwork, and relaxation to improve joint health and mental well-being. ------------------------- The Participant hereby agrees that the use of Recreation & Parks Department facilities and equipment shall be at the exclusive risk of the Participant and his/her guests or agents. The Participant further agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Columbus from any and all claims, suits, loss, damage, or injury to persons or property of any kind or nature whatsoever to the Participant and his/her guests or agents as a result of, or activities engaged in the facilities, or use of equipment. The Participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Columbus if the Participant violates the rules and regulations or the law.
