$15 LAB FEE DUE AT FIRST CLASS Learn the basic techniques of working
with stained glass and create one stained glass panel (no larger than
8”x8”) FIRST CLASS ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY.Class objectives:
Students will learn the following steps in the stained glass process:
* create a pattern and cut glass pieces to fit pattern, * to how to
properly foil a piece of glass, * how to solder pieces of glass
together, * and how to cleanse and polish a finished stained glass
piece. Experience level recommended: Beginner Intermediate Advanced
(check all that apply) Class size min/max: (number of students): 12
STUDENTS WILL NEED TO PURCHASE: •
1 pound of 60/40 solder (can be purchased at Franklin Art Glass in
German Village or on Amazon)•
1 roll of 7/32” black backed, copper tape ( can be purchased at
Franklin Art Glass in German Village or on Amazon) •
Safety Glasses•
Upon creating a pattern, students may wish to purchase colored glass
that CCAC doesn’t have on hand.
