Join COLUMBUS Gives Back to SERVE DINNER TO INDIVIDUALS AT Faith
Mission's Community Kitchen
[http://www.faithmissionofohio.org/programs-kitchen.php]. This is a
tremendously rewarding experience that allows us to provide such an
essential service to individuals and families in need.
WHERE: FAITH MISSION COMMUNITY KITCHEN, 245 N Grant Street. Once
you arrive, there is a sign in sheet at the front desk. Tell them
you're here to SERVE AND THEY WILL POINT YOU TO THE KITCHEN.
WHEN: Monday, June 26th, 6:30 - 8:00 PM. We will be serving the
men.
EVENT LEADERS: Brittany at brittany@columbusgivesback.org
WHAT: We will be serving dinner, cafeteria style to the men in the
community. Wear comfortable clothing, tie your hair back if
necessary, and prepare to serve all your favorites: mashed potatoes,
green beans, apple sauce, chicken/rice, or whatever else the kitchen
whips up that day. If you are opposed to hair nets you can bring a
hat to wear.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All volunteers at Faith Mission must wear
CLOSED-TOED SHOES. Hair nets, aprons, and gloves will be provided.
