Free CHILDBIRTH CLASS MEETING IN MASON, Ohio discussing pregnancy,
CHILDBIRTH, postpartum and everything in between. This is a one night
class designed for couples who are not able to commit to a 3 week
class. This class will cover many of the same topics as the full class
in a much faster paced environment.
Pizza and dessert will be served during class. The class will be on
Friday, August 23rd from 6pm to 9pm. If class needs to be cancelled
one of those dates, the make up class will be on August 30th.
Some of the topics discussed will be understanding how your body
prepares for labor, the four stages of labor, relaxation techniques
for dealing with fear and tension during labor, pain management,
laboring positions, delivery methods, newborn hospital care,
discussing postpartum and breast/bottle feeding as well as how to
create birth preferences.
This class is taught by Tamara Kankowski, childbirth educator as well
as birth and postpartum doula and founder of Stork Helpers.
